October 2012

October has been a fun filled memorable month for our family! Take a look at what we have been up too!

John and Marlene (Chris folks) celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. We felt privilege to be a part of such a memorable milestone!

Siri and Ellie started "soccer class" through the organization Kidz Love Soccer. We have been spending our Saturday mornings watching the two girls develop their soccer skills. I think Siri will be ready to join a team next fall!

We went to PLU Homecoming football game. It was a beautiful day to watch a football game.

I got to go to the pumpkin patch with Ellie's pre-school class. I love going on this field trip every year!  This is a picture of Ellie and her friend Rori.

Carving pumpkins! Chris faithfully carved Snow White and Tinkerbell into the girls' pumpkins. We enjoyed hot apple cider and roasted pumpkins seeds while he carved away.

We attended the annual Harvest Carnival at the girls' school. It's always a great time!

We had one of the greatest evening to trick or treat on Halloween. The weather was amazing. The girls had a great time. Oh and the candy! My goodness, we ended up throwing more than half of it away. Shhhh...don't tell. ;)

We Did the Puyallup Fair

"Do the Puyallup"

Each September we have been taking the girls to the huge local fair here in Pierce County. This year we took in all the wonderful sights, rode the rides, and ATE our way through the fair. This year Chris' employer (Columbia Bank) sponsored at family day at the fair. We all got in free if we wore the lovely blue shirts.  Here are a few pictures from our day.

Macy would have climbed in and given the horse a kiss if we would have let her!

Our attempt at a family photo.

First Day of School 2012

2012-2013 School Year at First Pres. Church School

Ellie is already for school. She will be going 4 days a week!

Siri is a big 1st grader this year. Doesn't she look so big!

Yes, Macy was with us on the first day of school. Here she is "photo bombing" our picture.

Here's to another wonderful year at FPCS!
